I've been told that too, and seen the pictures of the show car... the windscreen and frame are a mess. But every picture of a crashed Elise/VX that involves a roll over, shows the frame relatively undamaged... Tim Skipper's S2 190 rolled 3 times into a 12 foot drop. So there must be some structural strength in the frame, otherwise it would collapse like wet paper
